Reverend Malcolm A. Eatmon, born September 24, 1986, is married to Meagan Nicole, native of Baltimore, MD and they are the blessed and humbled parents of 3 sons and 1 daughter, Alexander Charles, Jeremy Thomas, Nathaniel Parker, and Olivia Ivy-Grace.

Hearing the call to preach at a young age, he was licensed to preach the Gospel on Sunday, June 6, 2004; one week following his high school graduation.  He received ordination certification through the Wilson Missionary Baptist Association, Wilson NC in December of 2007.  Prior to serving as a Pastor, Rev. Eatmon had the distinct pleasure of serving in the local missionary union of the Wilson Association (served as President of the Youth Department) and Past President of the State Youth Department of the Woman’s Baptist Home & Foreign Missionary Convention of NC-Auxiliary to the General Baptist State Convention of NC.  One of his greatest delights was serving as Youth Minister of the Vaughn's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Elm City NC, where he served for 4 1/2 years, officially; however, the relationships and bond the youth built with him have allowed him to continue being a part of their young adult lives even now.

At the tender age of 23, Rev. Eatmon became Co-Pastor alongside his Home Church Pastor, Rev. Lynwood E. Batts, of a "church plant" named Arc of Faith Church, Raleigh NC.  After serving as Co-Pastor for one year, he became Pastor in April of 2011 (just 4 months shy of the birth of his first-born).  The congregation was able to bless numerous souls both in and outside of the church through community outreach projects, marriage seminars/retreats, and small group bible study, just to name a few.  While continuing to listen and follow the voice of God, Rev. Eatmon finished his "assignment" of serving the people at Arc of Faith in December of 2016.

In March of 2017, Rev. Eatmon accepted the call and divine appointment to become the fourth pastor of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church (MOMBC), Rocky Mount NC. This historic appointment followed the long-lasting legacy of the late Rev. George E. Battle, Sr. who had served the church for 5+ decades. Since being installed on July 16, 2017 (the one-year birthday of his youngest son), Rev. Eatmon has continued to urge MOMBC to follow in the footsteps of the forerunners by constantly encouraging members to “Believe in Church” the way it should be which requires God’s people to “Go-Teach-Baptize-Love”.

Rev. Eatmon is a bi-vocational minister.  Having served in public education as a teacher, pre kindergarten coordinator, licensure specialist, and special projects' facilitator, he is currently employed as a Financial Services Representative.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a 6-9 Language Arts and 9-12 English NC Teaching license from Barton College in Wilson NC and a Masters of School Administration degree from Elizabeth City State University, Elizabeth City NC.

It is Rev. Eatmon's passion and desire for people to live.  From youth to now, his favorite scripture remains, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).  This verse serves as a reminder of the adage saying his mom taught him, "There is nothing that the Lord and I can't handle together"; therefore, all people have the ability and right to not just exist in LIFE, but actually have a LIFE!
